My favorite 4th grade experience was going to U.L i remember putting tinfoil in the microwave, and short circuiting an extension cord. Ialso remember bashing a stereo watching the spitting toilet. Also watching the U.L video. I remember looking at the bulletproof glass.
I also enjoyed the quiz boards my subject on my quiz board was What Description Goes With What Shape. It was fun seeing what other 4th grade kids have done. They had some very exciting topics like what car goes with what picture or what sports team has what color.
One thing I learned....
I learned about atoms and their electrical charge and how static is a sudden bolt of electricity like lightning. and flowing goes in a circle.
My favorite unit of study...
My favorite unit of study is Math I loved the math unit when we worked on fractions. like 1/2 and 5/6 it was very interesting. I love math it is very fun.
One area in which I am most improved...
I improved my spelling skills because now I can spell words like abdominal I think I improved majorly on my spelling skills. And I studied every night . Witch increases my chance of doing well.
One thing of which I am most proud...
I'm most proud of my ability to get work done in a limited amount of time. I think this year was a great school year! I remember so many things too.
My favorite book i read in fourth grad was Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. Because this book was funny and very interesting it was the best book I've read the whole time i was in school 1-4 grade.
One thing that I plan to do this summer. . .
I plan to goto camp and have an awesome time having lots of fun there. I'm going to a camp where there's a lake and lots of trees. and it's in another state!
June makes me think of. . .
June makes me think of swimming, tennis, basketball, camp, and boating. I love june school ends and summer begins. I like summer when ice cream trucks roam around and everyone is peaceful. I love june because I like to fish and it's warm in june and i can then fish. I hope I catch a fish.
New Grade Feelings. . .
When I entered 4th grade i felt a little nervous but when i really got into the middle of the beginning of the grade then i didn't really feel scared i just knew i was in 4th grade and i had to get used to it! I felt after that very confident and that one thought lead me through the whole year. I felt each mistake was making everything easier because i learned to accept and learn from them. 4th grade was a nice relaxing grade i never fell behind and I'm very proud of how i was nervous to dignified in just a couple of months!
I think in fifth grade it will be the same and different because in fifth grade the teachers are different the desks are different and everything is new to you. I believe that 5th grade will be one of my best grades I've been to and i hope to have a year than I did in 4th Grade. I hope I get a good 5th grade teacher and an awesome experience! knowing that I'm closer to 5th grade that 4th grade!
One Thing I Would Do To Improve The School. . .
One thing I would do to improve the school would be... I would try to make more reading! because reading is the most important thing to me, for example if you didn't learn math then you could learn how to do it by reading. Because there is no spanish in fifth grade or in this school for possibly the next 5 to 10 years or whenever. But if they teach more reading and language then we might be able to accomplish more in the long run. We could learn more things in the time spanish was supposed to be in. Like new kinds of nouns and verbs and when we learn them later on we would already know them so we would be smarter and move on to more advanced things.
